HSE Invest carried out consulting engineering services, project design and preparation of application software for the HPP and the HV switchyard.
In 2018, a large-scale project of refurbishing control systems and replacing secondary systems at Fala HPP, which celebrated its centenary year in 2018, was completed. The project included refurbishing of the turbine, generator, monitoring, excitation, and protection systems, refurbishing the systems for AC and DC auxiliary power, dismantling, assembly and refurbishment of the HPP control system and the 110 kV switchyard.
