High water of river Drava destroyed in November 2012 right mounds and discharge channel's slope of HPP Formin. As consequence the destruction of diaphragm wall, large quantities of gravel were disposed in discharge channel and equipment in Turbine Hall sustain heavy damage. Rehabilitation of damage was done in two stages. First the rehabilitation of discharge channel's slope and the diaphragm wall was done. In second phase the existing embankment was uplifted and slopes were stabilized, since studies showed that existing embankments were to low and unstable.
HSE Invest participated in the project as designer and carried out consulting engineering services.
